06Inserting
A degree sign, a fraction, an arrow, an emoji — a photo of the real thing, or a whole diagram built from a few lines of code. Insert is the one place everything arrives from, so you're never hunting a keyboard mid-lesson.

Find itThe Insert button in the top bar.
GlyphsSwitch tabs and tap a glyph to drop it, then drag to position.
PicturesAdd image sits at the foot of the Insert list, below a rule, with its Paste, Upload and Screenshot buttons right there. Big pictures are shrunk to a size a board can actually show, which keeps a lesson with several images quick even across a deck of boards — then drag the handles to resize, rotate or crop. Sticky note sits beside it, with Note and Callout.
Finding thingsThe makers in Insert are listed alphabetically; Add image and Sticky note sit apart at the foot, since they drop something straight on the board rather than opening a maker.
Built from codeThe panel also opens the makers for sequence diagrams, diagrams from code, charts, equations and the lesson header. Not sure which? Which one should I use? at the top of the panel goes straight to the comparison.
