Light & dark

14Comfort

Work in whichever mode is easier on your eyes and your room. The colour swatches adapt automatically so your ink always reads well against the surface.

Find itThe Theme button in the top bar.
Use itTap to switch between light and dark. Slate remembers your choice for next time.
SkinsThe Theme button opens light and dark plus fifteen glossy default skins — Aqua, Graphite, Amber, Orchid, Jade, Midnight, Rose, Steel, Ink, Citrus, Cocoa, Sky, Plum and Sand, or plain Studio. A skin dresses the panels and the backdrop only: it never touches the board, so what you export or share looks the same whichever one you are using.
Make your ownOpen Customise under the skins to set the panel colour and how see-through it is, the backdrop, the gloss, the blur and the edge. You can also paste or upload a picture for the backdrop and choose whether it fills, fits or tiles. Save as mine keeps it on this device; Clear puts the skin back as it was. Picking a default skin clears your own first, so the two never pile up.
